Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Human Purpose Platform (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on thehumanpurpose.com. We have designed this website with privacy in mind. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services of any kind.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit, such as your language preferences or session state. Cookies can be “session cookies,” which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent cookies,” which remain on your device for a set period of time.
Similar technologies include “session storage” and “local storage,” which function like cookies but are stored differently in your browser and are not transmitted with every page request.
2. What we use and why
Session storage (strictly necessary)
When you use the Purpose Diagnostic, your progress through the 17 questions is temporarily stored in your browser’s session storage. This allows you to move between steps without losing your answers. This data exists only in your browser and is automatically cleared when you close the tab or window. It is never sent to our servers independently of the final form submission.
We also use session storage to remember that you have passed through the pre-launch access screen, so you are not prompted again during the same browsing session. This data is cleared when you close your browser.
Functional cookies from third-party processors
Our contact and diagnostic forms are processed by Formspree. When you submit a form, Formspree may set a short-lived session cookie for security purposes (such as CSRF protection) to verify that the form submission is legitimate. This cookie is strictly necessary to process your request and does not track you across websites.
Our website is hosted by Vercel, which may set infrastructure-level cookies or tokens to route your requests correctly and maintain performance. These are strictly technical and do not identify you personally.
3. What we do not use
We do not use:
- Google Analytics or any behavioural analytics service
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Any third-party tracking technology designed to follow you across websites
We do not build user profiles, and we do not share browsing data with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Do we need your consent?
Under EU law (the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent, as they are essential for the website to function as requested. Since we use only strictly necessary cookies and functional session storage, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If this changes in the future, for example if we introduce optional analytics tools, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism.
5. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies that are stored on your device
- Block all or specific cookies
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect how the website functions. In particular, blocking session storage may prevent the diagnostic from working correctly.
For guidance on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit your browser’s help documentation or allaboutcookies.org.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
